I refer to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI
Act) for access to documents.

Your request is for:

Please take this request for any documents that your department holds in
relation to any "Exemptions" or "Wa[i]vers" as defined by the Webster
Dictionary or socially accepted definitions of the words in the country of
Australia to comply with any legislation that your office has powers,
authority or manages under legislation for its management as a
superannuation provider.

To remove any doubt we are asking for all schemes that Commonwealth
Superannuation Corporation manages including

The period for the request relates to all documents created on or after
the 01st January 2017 by either your office and or the Commonwealth
Superannuation Corporation (where practicable if your office is not the
creator of the documents).

If you disagree with this interpretation of your request, please let me
know in writing as soon as possible.

The department received your request on 7 January 2022 and the 30 day
statutory period for processing your request commenced from the day after
that date. You should therefore expect a decision from us by 7 February
2022. However, the period of 30 days may be extended if the department
needs to consult third parties or for other reasons. We will advise you if
this happens.

The department's practice is to not disclose personal information of staff
of the department and other government authorities, where that information
is not publicly known or routinely disclosed (e.g. names of junior
officers and contact information). The names of senior officers will
generally be disclosed. In addition, duplicates and incomplete email
chains within the scope of the FOI request will be excluded.

I refer to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI
Act) for access to documents.

The purpose of this email is to advise you that your request has been
transferred to another agency.

Under section 16(1) of the FOI Act, a department can transfer a request if
the requested document is not in the possession of the department but is
in the possession of another agency or if the subject matter of the
document is more closely connected with the functions of another agency.

Accordingly, on 31 January 2022, the department transferred your request
to the Commonwealth Super Corporation (CSC).

We received your request on 7 January 2022 and the 30 day statutory period
for processing your request commenced from the day after that date. The
transfer of your request does not affect the due date for completion of
your request. You should therefore expect a decision from the CSC by 7
February 2022. However, the statutory period of 30 days may be extended if
the CSC needs to consult third parties or for other reasons. The CSC will
advise you if this happens.
