Evidence of isolation of the SARS-COV-2 virus
Dear Department of Health,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 I am requesting for you to please provide me with the documents held within the Department of Health that show the evidence of the isolation of the SARS-Cov-2 virus. To eliminate the possibility of contamination, I ask that these documents show the virus has been isolated from only the sample of a symptomatic patient of COVID 19, where it was not first combined with any other source of genetic material (not limited to but by way of example; monkey kidney cells/vero cells or liver cancer cells.)
Please note that I am using "isolation" in the every-day sense of the word: the
act of separating a thing(s) from everything else. I am not requesting records
where "isolation of SARS-COV-2" refers *instead* to:
• the culturing of something, or
• the performance of an amplification test (i.e. a PCR test), or • the sequencing
of something.
As this information is of extreme public interest at this time, I request any fee for finding this information to be waived. Thank you for your time.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Kube
Good afternoon
