Act), received by the Department of Education (department) on 5 February
2024 for the following:

“…I am  Evelyn Samuel the author of Super Easy Books and since the public
and students in Australia has shown a keen interest in  purchasing my
study guides I have decided to promote my books to the secondary schools
in Australia which will give their students top grades.

              Sir I would very much appreciate your kind assistance in
providing me with only the email addresses of all the secondary schools in
Australia..."

We have consulted with the relevant business area of the department about
your request. We are advised that the department does not hold a discrete
document containing the information you have requested in your request. In
addition, we are advised that while the department may hold contact
information for schools, the department would not be able to guarantee
that the contact information it holds is accurate or up-to-date.

We are advised that the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting
Authority (ACARA) maintains an Australian Schools List, which contains a
list of all Australian schools and URLs to their respective websites. The
Australian Schools List is publicly available on [1]ACARA’s website. In
addition, we are advised that the [2]My School website, administered by
ACARA, contains a school profile for each school in Australia, including a
link to the school’s website. We are advised that the links to school
websites available via ACARA’s website as set out above may include the
information you seek for your request.

As the department does not hold the information you are requesting, we
will treat your FOI request as withdrawn unless you advise otherwise by
Friday 16 February 2024.
