Educational Qualifications and All Disciplinary Proceeding Information conducted by the department related to Team Leaders and/or higher.
Dear Queensland Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services,
In accordance with the public interest provisions and Freedom of Information Act, I am requesting detailed information to be made available to the public regarding the total number of Child Safety Officers currently employed at or above the 'Team Leader' level, the number of those who have completed higher learning and are university qualified, and the number of those with no formal educational qualifications who are considered to be 'professionally qualified'.
I am also asking for information on how many of the Child Safety Officers employed as Team Leader or higher have been subject to 'Adverse Professional Disciplinary proceedings' which were internally initiated by the department for suspected acts of misconduct or serious misconduct of a public office.
I am specifically asking for information on the South East Queensland Regional offices, including the Gold Coast's Southern Downs Offices, and specifically for the offices in Ripley and Ipswich.
I would also like to know the organisational hierarchy and structure of the department, as well as the policies and procedures used and/or followed in relation to the complaints processes, particularly when the complaint is serious misconduct in a public office.
Yours faithfully,
member of the public
