Dubbo Water Contamination 2016

Dubbo Resident made this Government Information (Public Access) request to Dubbo City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Dubbo Regional Council,

Can you please provide me with all documents relating to the water pollution event within this LGA?

Some specific questions:
- What was the level of e-coli contamination within the water?
- Does DRC have knowledge of any residents becoming ill after coming in contact with the water?
- How often does council test the water?
- When did council first know of the e-coli contamination?
- Why did council take so long to present the information to the public?
- What expenditure was used to provide bottled water to key customers?
- What decisions were made to not discount or waive residents water usage charges for this period?

Yours faithfully,
Dubbo Resident
