Sent request to Tourism Research Australia again, using a new contact address.
Dear Mr Smith
Thank you for your email last Thursday night with an FOI request. Can you please call me to discuss?
I have discussed with Tourism Research Australia (which is a unit within Austrade). They don't have documents that directly address your request. You appear to be seeking data - TRA advised that most of the data you are seeking is from Home Affairs and is not held by TRA.
Rather than simply passing your request to Home Affairs we wanted to talk about it with you, so we can see what information TRA can provide to assist.
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Budd,
Thank you for your reply of 28 October 2019 in response to my request for government information.
I appreciate your offer to assist, however in this case, when considering the points raised in your email, there is no need to re-activate my initial request of 14 December 2018.
Thank you for your efforts and offer to help me.
You can consider this request closed.
Yours sincerely,
Richard Smith
