Dear Janelle,
There seems to be a mistake. This document is not an acknowledgement of receipt, it is a notification of withdrawal. I have not withdrawn this request.
Yours sincerely,
Lawrence Bull
UNCLASSIFIED
Dear Mr Bull
Our records indicate that at 2:08PM today Ms Bevan provided you with a notification of withdrawal for FA 13/09/00100 and at 2:29PM I sent the email below with the acknowledgement of FA 13/10/00448.
I am unsure how the notification of withdrawal became attached to my correspondence as the email address used by Ms Bevan for FA 13/09/00100 was different to the email address recorded for FA 13/10/00448.
For your information I have reattached a copy of the acknowledgement letter for FA 13/10/00448.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if the attachment does not come through this time.
Kind Regards
Janelle

Dear Ms Bevan,
Thank you for your response. I contend that the charge has been wrongly assessed on the basis that one hour is an excessive and unreasonable amount of time to charge for the search and retrieval of a single document from this electronic database, particularly as the catalogue number was provided.
Yours sincerely,
Lawrence Bull
