Dear Wollondilly Shire Council,

I would like to know when the DA was changed on 37A Remembrance Driveway Tahmoor to include a granny flat.

Secondly I would like to know why the surrounding residents were not in formed of the proposed building that is presently under construction.

Dear Wollondilly Shire Council,

I have not received an answer to my questions for DA changes for 37A Remembrance Driveway Tahmoor. The second question why not the were surrounding properties owners not informed of the changes to the DA of the above mentioned property.

By law Wollondilly Council should have responded promptly regarding the granny flat under construction on 37A Remembrance Driveway Tahmoor.

Good Afternoon Vicki

 

I have been forwarded on your email to respond to.  This application for a
secondary dwelling/granny flat at 37A Remembrance Drvwy, Tahmoor was
completed as a Complying Development Certificate with a Private Certifier
and not Council.  The private certifier should have notified you in
regards to this.  Wollondilly Shire Council did at no stage any assessment
on this application so could not neighbour notify the application.

At no stage have we or other neighbours received any correspondence pertaining the building of the extra dwelling that has been built on 37a Remembrance Driveway Tahmoor.
Is it possible to get the private certifier's name and contact details from council?
Can you help by providing any paper work we need to fill out about this problem?

If you feel that the Private Certifier has not been following the correct procedure in regards to the issuing of this Complying Development Certificate you can make a formal complaint to the Building Professionals Board in regards to their conduct.
