Dear Jay
Thank you for your email.
Previous editions of the Country Information Report on Sri Lanka from
2010-2012 can be provided to you administratively.
Administrative access means the release of government information in
response to a specific request, outside of the processes in the FOI Act.
Administrative release is encouraged by the Office of the Australian
Information Commissioner (OAIC) to facilitate efficient outcomes.
If you are happy for this to occur, please confirm your agreement to
withdraw your FOI request. You may then directly email [1][email address]
to request copies of the reports.
Kind regards
DFAT FOI Team

Dear FOI,
I've been informed by Right To Know over email that I may request it here? I quote: I "agree they may release them to you via Right To Know via Administrative access" and when you do this I can withdraw my FOI request.
"This way the information is also still released publicly. There's no reason for them to need for them to email you directly. as far as I can see."
Are you able to publish the country reports here via Administrative access so others may access them too?
Yours sincerely,
Jian Ooi
