Dear PTV FOI,
Hi Gavin given TfL the largest Pt Provider in the world gives this for free on their website and also does not charge for information I hope PTV can do the same
I’m a graphic design and public transport enthusiast as stared Transport for London (TfL) offers this Information on line colours etc to share for these reasons
It would also be for my own private use for some simple art to put on my walls like a map of the Melbourne metro network
Yours sincerely,
Tony Baldwin
Dear PTV FOI,
Gavin I request this to be made outside of the FOI as this information is already produced and does not need to be researched
I am a graphic designer that has a keen intrest in Transport I am making for my own personal use in hows a Rainbow Board based on https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/live-travel-u... ie an A3 image with line names bars and colours. I’m wanting to ensure the colour makeup is accurate CMYK
I will also create a separate image using the modes pictographs
As you can see on this Wikipedia article someone has already redrawn in this instance the tram graphic
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mel... However I want to ensure the green background is the correct colour.
I’m wanting to make sure also I use the correct colour for
- Metro Train Services
- Metro Bus Services
- V/Line train & coach Services
- Skybus pictograph & colour
- Western Port Ferry Pictograph & Colour
On a side note Transport for London has placed on their website a copy of all their design and branding manuals for all to access for those with this intrest
Yours sincerely,
Tony Baldwin

Dear PTV FOI,
Gavin
Thanks for that I note there is some pages that has been extracted any chance I can request parts 2.1-2.3 as well
I note in that document it mentioned Google and Apple maps using the colours in their apps
Atm they only use the default Metro blue and Tram green
Have they been contacted by PTV to use the full spectrum on the page
Yours sincerely,
Tony Baldwin
