Conditions on license PRK-013137

We're waiting for Vicki Luke to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service,
I want to clarify the conditions on a License to harm animals PRK-013137 which has been granted to shoot kangaroos in Albury City 2640. This area is zoned residential and I have reported an incident on Saturday the 13th of July at 4.30 when loud shots were fired near our back boundary whilst my husband was out the back and the police recommended it was unwise to be outside. NPWS Compliance is investigating the license and other relevant bodies including Albury City and the Thurgoona Community Action Group are interested in the conditions that this license was granted under as it is close to a main arterial road and a 123 lot subdivision across the road from us.

Yours faithfully,
Vicki Luke

If you do not consent to your report being forwarded, please reply to

Hi Vicki,

I can confirm your request has been reviewed by NSW National Parks and
Wildlife Service and they cannot give out the details of another person’s
licence. However, it is open for you to make a formal application for the
information.

Formal GIPA requests for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the
Environment and Water can be lodged via our online form -
[1]https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/gipaa....

Please note that on 1 January 2024, the Department of Planning and
Environment ceased to exist and was replaced by two new departments:

o Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure
o Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water

The online form still says ‘Department of Planning and Environment’, but
it can be used for the two new departments.

Kind regards,
