Dear Derek,
I refer to your correspondence of 17 June 2022 seeking access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) to documents held by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications (Infrastructure). This email is to advise you that your request has been received and will be allocated to a Case Manager.

Please note that Infrastructure does not release information that is considered ‘personal information’ of individuals other than the applicant; this includes private email addresses, signatures, personnel (employment) numbers and mobile telephone numbers, unless you specifically request such details. Infrastructure excludes duplicates of documents and any documents sent to or from you. Furthermore, Infrastructure only considers final versions of documents.
If you are seeking personal details of other individuals, please advise this office by 22 June 2022 so that the decision maker can consider your request.
Infrastructure may impose a charge for the work involved in providing access to the documents in accordance with the Freedom of Information (Charges) Regulations. You will be notified separately if your request attracts a charge. Please note that there is no charge for documents that contain the personal information of the applicant.
The statutory deadline for you to receive a response to your request is 17 July 2022.
Please note that where the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the timeframe will expire on the next working day. This is in accordance with the FOI Guidelines issued by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Good afternoon Derek,
I refer to your FOI request FOI CB 22-014 received on 17 June 2022
requesting access to documents in the possession of the Department of
Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development (the
department) in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the
FOI Act).
While processing your request, the department has identified that your
request includes documents from third party organisations. In accordance
with Section 26A of the FOI Act, the department is required to consult
with any third party agencies before making a decision on the release of
documents.
Section 15(6) of the FOI Act provides for an extension of 30 days to be
added to the statutory time limit for processing requests. Therefore, the
deadline for providing you with the decision on your request is now 16
August 2022.
Please advise if you consent to FOI Directorate naming you as the
applicant to third parties for the purpose of consultation by: COB Monday
18 July 2022.
While you are under no obligation to reveal your identity as the applicant
and we will not disclose your identity without consent, in our
experience, third parties will generally be more likely to object to the
release of their information if they do not know who the applicant is.

The current statutory deadline for you to receive a response to your FOI

decision letter and documents relating to your request received on 17 June

Your request sought access to:
“Any and all applicable documentation relating to the classification of
the video games "Manhunt" (2003) and "Manhunt 2" (2007), published by
Rockstar Games.”
Please note that the line area responsible for processing this request
have advised that “Manhunt 2” does not exist and have presumed that you
are referring to the re-classification of the original Manhunt.
If you wish to seek a review of this decision, please visit the [1]Office
of the Australian Information Commissioner webpage for more details.
Section 11C of the FOI Act requires publication of released documents on
the Department’s online FOI disclosure log, subject to certain exceptions,
including where publication of personal, business, professional or
commercial information would be unreasonable. I have decided that the
documents released will be published on the disclosure log.
