Campbelltown, NSW - Design Contracts
Dear NBN Co Limited,
I would like to request a document containing any information regarding the rollout in Campbelltown, NSW.
The scope of the request ranges from;
1. detailed design and field inspection work that have been issued to NBNco's Construction Partners. That is, contracts that are currently underway;
and where possible contracts that are planned to be issued within this financial year (2014/15).
- this is to contain, where possible: the name of the fibre serving area (locality, e.g. CBT-01 Campbelltown, CBT-04 Leumeah) and any maps associated with the design.
and
2. The architecture to be used to connect Campbelltown, NSW to the National Broadband Network.
e.g. 100% of the footprint to receive Fibre to the Premises
e.g 40% Fibre to the Premises 60% Fibre to the Node.
or CBT-04 Leumeah - Fibre to the Premises, CBT - 03 "unknown location" - Fibre to the Node, etc.
IF you can only find partial information for this request, for example you can only find information regarding part 1 and not part 2 of the request, then i will accept that you continue with that particular part of the request. If and only if a reason as to why you cannot achieve to attain the information in the other part of the request is provided.
To clarify the request, any information that's already in the public record (anything posted by NBNco on their website) does not need to be retrieved, so where i make the request please keep CBT-01(already available) and any other areas to be provided to the public record between this date of the request 04/08/14 to the 15/08/14 (any other areas that will be added in August's Map update) be exempt from the scope.

Thank you for the clarification.
I wanted to check in with you to ensure you appreciate the potential scale of your request. Your request appears to be seeking the release of what is potentially a large breadth of documents including: contracts, detailed design and inspection documents, maps as well as internal projections as to future contracts of works.
While I am not making a determination nor have I examined the relevant documents, I attach a link: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/6... to a decision related to a recent request for similar "detailed design and inspection documents", as I thought it may be helpful for you to understand the reasons given for not releasing those documents in that instance.
As pointed out to you in our letter of 11 August, processing charges may be imposed and, a factor that can increase the charges is the search and retrieval time and the time taken to review the results of the searches. With this in mind I wanted to provide you with the opportunity to narrow the scope of your request and also to review a recent NBN decision for documents of a similar nature.
The legislative timeframes for completing this FOI request will not commence until such time as I am clear on exactly what it is that you are seeking.
