Breakdown of real costs involved in the closure of Medical Photography Departments and effects on patient confidentiality.
Dear NSW Ministry of Health,
I would like to request information on the real effects and cost of closing medical photography departments in NSW Public Hospitals. This would include the cost of using private contractors to undertake some of the illustrative functions previously supplied by medical illustration departments as well as how patient privacy concerns are addressed with uncontrolled imaging of medical conditions by untrained staff on private imaging devices.
