Australian Army Trophies and Awards per Army Corps

We're waiting for Fred to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Defence FOI,

I am interested to find some more information about the different types of Trophies and Awards which each Australian Army Corps gives and awards it's soldiers for various achievements.

For example the Duke of Gloucester Cup (DOG Cup) is a trophy awarded to the best infantry regiment, yet for some reason, the Australian Army doesn't have a dedicated webpage or associated online presence which can be visible for all to see, what the DOG Cup looks like, information about the history of it, what and how is this competition scored, when and where is it held and who has previously won these events? Is this an Infantry Corps Trophy or Award and if so can the Army and or the Army History Unit provide more information to the general public about such Trophies and Awards which are also awarded by each of the Australian Army Corps. It would be adventitious if the Australian Army and the Army History unit worked together to create a page link within each Army Corps (https://www.army.gov.au/about-us/army-co...) with this important and historical information.

Under the Defence FOI Act, I am seeking the Army provide a list of all Australian Army Corps Trophies and Awards, which have been given out by the various Army Corps, with the associated requirements for achieving said awards and or trophies, a list of the associated names and dates of when these awards were presented to the individuals and background history, description, images and importance of the award(s) given out by each Army Corps.

I look forward to Defence FOI, and the Australian Army providing this soon,

Yours faithfully,

Fred
