Dear Australian Taxation Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Australian Taxation Office's handling of my FOI request 'ATO'.
Please refer Tony Napoli, from ATO.
As per a phone conversation stated it was and would be answered via Freedom of Information..
Please refer to the following from NSW POLICE,
False or misleading information about identity.
(cf Crimes Act 1900, s 563)
A person must not, without reasonable excuse, in response to a request made by a police officer in accordance with this Division:
(a) give a name that is false in a material particular, or
(b) give an address other than the person’s full and correct address.
Maximum penalty: 2 penalty units.
Why is it allowed for ATO to state a wrong or unlawful name to a business professional or accountant.
This is a twist of commonwealth law, allowing certain people to do what they please.
It’s a simple yes we do use and why or no we don’t.
