Assistance Animal Translink Pass Applications
Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,
I am requesting the number of applications per year for the Translink Assistance Animal Passes for the past five years - presented as accepted and rejected numbers per year and also identifying the number of canine applications and other applications by species

Dear Customer
I refer to your email requesting data relating to assistance animal
Translink pass applications held by the Department of Transport and Main
Roads (the department).
Access to information held by the department can be requested by
submitting an application under the Right to information Act 2009 (RTH
Act) which will incur an application fee of $55.75.
Please note that whilst the RTI Act is intended to provide a right of
access to information held by government, this right of access is subject
to the grounds for refusal which include public interest considerations.
What this means is that whilst the department meets the object of the RTI
Act and provides access to information/documents wherever possible, it
does not guarantee access to all or any parts of the relevant documents.
In situations where the proposed release of the requested documents would
be considered to be of concern to another person or entity, consultation
with that person or entity would be required under the RTI Act.
Processing charges
Where an application will take more than five hours to finalise,
processing charges are applicable at the current rate of $8.65 per 15
minutes.
