Dear Mr Pentland
I am writing to request your agreement to extend the processing time for
your FOI request 007-2024 under section 15AA of the Freedom of Information
Act 1982.
The staff that I am required to consult with in relation to the requested
documents are currently on leave and so it appears I am not able to issue
a decision by 12 February 2024.
I am therefore seeking your agreement to extend the processing time for
your FOI request to Friday 23 February 2024.
Section 15AA of the FOI Act provides that an agency may extend the 30-day
statutory period for dealing with a request by a further period of no more
than 30 days (either as a single extension, or a series of shorter
extensions) if the applicant agrees in writing to the extension.
Could you please confirm by email by COB tomorrow, 6 February 2024 if you
agree to this extension.
Further, can you please confirm if you are happy for us to redact from the
requested documents, staff members names and ASIC group email addresses?
Kind regards
Hayley Tunnicliffe
