Dear former Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, current Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry:

Regarding the Appointment of Aaron Dodd Director- Surveillance Australian chief Plant Protection Office

I wish to know:
Position number and when it was gazetted.

Where was the job advertised?
How many applicants were considered?
How was the selection process done:
Selection panel, level of officers in panel, where were officers employed, were all officers from the department?

Which criteria were used for the selection?

Were any applicants who identified as
CALD, Indigenous or disabled considered?

If a merit list were used:
how old was the merit list?
For which position had the merit list been created?

May I receive a copy of the documentation the department follows to conduct its recruitment?

Yours faithfully,

James
