Please treat this as a request for administrative access. If for
some reason the request cannot be dealt with in this way, please

Act.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Jones
Searches of the Minister’s Office are being conducted. However, given the
recent change in Ministerial responsibilities and that the Foreign
Minister and Chief of Staff are currently overseas attending the United
Nations General Assembly, I would be grateful if you would agree to a 30
day extension of the statutory deadline for your request (in accordance
with section 15AA of the Freedom of Information Act). This would allow
the Office additional time to conduct appropriate searches and progress to
a decision on this matter. Should you agree, the new deadline would be 2
November, and we will inform the Office of the Australian Information
Commissioner (OAIC) of the new timeframe.
Kind regards
Stephanie

Dear Minister for Foreign Affairs,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Minister for Foreign Affairs's handling of my FOI request 'Any information and investigation involving the August 31, 2002 murders of two American schoolteachers in West Papua, Indonesia'.
I am aware of internal communications among various parties with the Australian government from the US embassy cables. The victims were flown to a hospital in Australia. Rio Tinto, an Australian firm, is a stakeholder in the mine.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/a...
Yours faithfully,
Jonathan Jones
