Dear Mr Smith

Thank you for your email of 31 January 2025 in which you made a request
under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act) to the Department
of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (the Department). Apologies for the
delay in responding.

You set out the terms of the request as follows:

Please provide copies of any documents relating to the appointment of
General (Rtd) Angus Campbell AO as Australia's Ambassador to Belgium, the
European Union (EU), the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and
Luxembourg.

We understand that you wish to seek access to specific documents, however
it appears your request would be more appropriately placed with the

High Commissioners and Consuls-General.

In light of this information we invite you to withdraw your FOI request.
Your confirmation that we have satisfied your request and that no further

Kind regards
