Dear NSW Police Force,
Could you please let me know what information you can request from NSW Police informally (without a formal GIPA application)? Is there a document or guideline which exists within NSW Police which details this information? If so, would you be able to provide a copy (informally if possible).

Good Morning Mr Fairless,
Generally, informal applications are to request information that is on the
disclosure log.
Each application is assessed on an individual basis but if you have a
specific matter or document that you are seeking, please contact this
office for further advice prior to submitting your application.
The majority of information held by NSWPF would require a formal access
application.
