I noteyou are seeking information under theGovernment Information (Public
Access) Act 2009 (NSW) (GIPA Act).  Crimes are generally a matter for the
Police and they may be the better agency to approach for information.

City of Newcastle may however hold information about a property when
matters have been reported to us, or where we have performed our
regulatory functions and may have undertaken an investigation.

As you are seeking information over a 10 years period, extensive searches
will be required to be undertaken over several electronic records systems
with a further manual search to identify relevant information.  As this
will require substantial time to be spent undertaking a thorough search of
our records, it is not appropriate to to do this on an informal basis
under theGIPA Act.

If you wish to wish to proceed with your request, you will be required to
complete a formal access application (attached) and lodge it with us with
the $30 application fee.  Further processing charges of $30/ hour may also
apply.
