Freedom of information application – Disclosure of Cabinet documents under
‘the Ten Year Rule’
I am writing to acknowledge an application on 1 June 2021 requesting
access to Cabinet documents under PC031, ‘Disclosure of Cabinet Documents
10 Years or Older’. The details of these applications are as follows:

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1991 (the Act), DPC has
30 days from the date this application was received to provide a
determination. A determination on this application is therefore due on 1
July 2021.
If a determination is not provided by the due date, DPC will be deemed to
have refused access to all documents relevant to the request. Under
subsection 29(1) of the Act, you are entitled to exercise your right to
apply for an internal review of DPC’s deemed refusal. In accordance with
subsection 29(2) of the Act, the application for internal review must:
Ø be in writing
Ø be addressed to the principal officer
Ø specify an address in Australia where notices under the Act should be
sent to, and
Ø be lodged via email to [SA Department of the Premier and Cabinet request email] within 30 days after the
determination’s due date, or within such further time as the principal
officer of the agency may allow.
