The Commission’s understanding of your request 
On 10 July 2024, the Commission received correspondence from you requesting 
documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act). 
You have requested: 
documents that would confirm the number of Commonwealth Public Officials employed 
by ASIC who have been referrred to the NACC to date for alleged contravention of the 
NACC Act 2022 and/or the Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth). 
 
Timeframes 
Under s 15(5)(a) of the FOI Act, the Commission must notify you that your 
request has been received as soon as practicable and no later than 14 days after 
receipt. This letter is a notice pursuant to s 15(5)(a). 
Under s 15(5)(b) of the FOI Act, the Commission must notify you of a decision in 
relation to your request as soon as practicable and no later than 30 days after 
the request was received. The date by which you must be notified of a decision is 
Friday, 9 August 2024.
