General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committee

The General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committee is part of the Health portfolio, and functions in an regulatory, review, inquiry, commission capacity. The General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committee considers applications from medical practitioners requesting re-inclusion on the Vocational Register and assesses practitioners eligibility according to the criteria defined in the relevant Regulations. It also considers whether practitioners continue to be eligible to remain on the Vocational Register through the compliance with the predominantly in general practice and minimum mandatory professional development requirements.
