Family Court of Australia

Part of the Attorney-General portfolio and a Federal authority

The Court was established under the Family Law Act 1975 and has original jurisdiction in all states and territories except Western Australia. The Court determines cases with complex law and facts including cases with jurisdictional issues, multiple parties and financial cases.
