Dear Hawkesbury City Council,
1. How much is the discrepancy of what Council SHOULD have been paying for rent of the Driftway waste facility since 1997, and what it DID pay? I have been told the overpayment over that time period was in the order of $1-2 million.
2. The original calculation used in 1997 to determine the rent was apparently faulty. What was the faulty equation used, and what SHOULD it have been?
3. When was the last time Council paid the university rent for the tip?
4. Has the university refused to refund the overpayments?
5. What is Council's action plan to rectify the situation?
