Subject: Government Information (Public Access) request - Douglas Road Kurrajong Heights not trafficable
From: Peter van Dyk <xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx>
To: GIPA requests at Hawkesbury City Council <
xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xx>
Dear Hawkesbury City Council,
Douglas Road Kurrajong Heights west of Bells Line of Road is a gravel road. The residents paid to upgrade the driveway road crossings recently to direct the storm water along the unmade gutter. The construction on the corner of Douglas Road and Bells Line of Road has changed the profile of that property so that now the storm water will run over Douglas Road. The drainage in Douglas Road is unable to to handle the storm water as evident by the recent road washing away.
1. Can you please provide the drainage computations to demonstrate what the Council has approved to be constructed is adequate?
2. Can you please advise what our rights are to obtain compensation for damage to our property, vehicles, personal injury while traveling the damaged road and who do we contact to removal the gravel washed into our driveway?
3. Can you please advise when the existing damaged road will be repaired.
4. Can you please advise when the road will be brought up to and acceptable standard including sealing the road an providing guttering.
5. My property is 35 Douglas Road Kurrajong Heights.
Yours faithfully,
Peter van Dyk
