You don't often get email from xxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx.xx. Learn why this is important
Dear

Thank you for your patience while we spoke with our RACP members about an initial discussion
regarding the development of new guidelines for the management of ME/CFS.

We now have several members with the relevant expertise across rehabilitation and paediatric
medical specialties who would be keen to be involved in a conversation. Could you please
provide some options for a virtual meeting (days/times over the next few weeks) and we can
then liaise with our members regarding their availability.

Please let us know if you have any other queries, otherwise we look forward to hearing from you
about meeting options.

Kind regards

Dear

You may be aware that the Department of Health and Aged Care has commissioned the National
Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) to develop guidelines for the management of
ME/CFS. The guidelines will be Australia’s first since the 2002 guidelines developed by a working
group of RACP.

The focus of the new guidelines will be the appropriate diagnosis and management of ME/CFS in
the primary care setting. My colleagues would like to meet with you to seek your views on the
scope of the guidelines and appropriate representation from RACP on the guideline development
committee, particularly in the areas of managing ME/CFS in children and structured
rehabilitation.

Please contact
 and
 at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx.xx to
confirm a convenient time for you to meet.

With thanks
