I object to the application of s47F and s47E(d) for the reasons that I stated in my internal review
application: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/decision_notice_dated_31_august#outgoing-26306 I
want access to the decision notice dated 31 August 2023, which I requested in my original FOI request. At
the very least, the document identifying Mr Turner's name, his application for a defence abuse reparation,
the decision maker's statement that "the Office is limited to considering the reported conduct, rather than
the impact of the abuse" and such other information that is publicly known, should have been made
available to me (with appropriate redactions if the redactions could be applied - for reasons provided,
section 47E(d) does not apply to the requested document). The internal review decision maker, Alison
Kay, did not adequately address my reasons for review. Her decision notice skirted past my review
grounds and merely regurgitated the original decision maker's position. I believe that, if a dispassionate
decision maker were to make a decision in respect of my request, Alison Kay's decision will be

overturned.
