Public Affairs Officer from the Public Affairs department at the high commission. It's nice to

In 2025, we will be celebrating a significant milestone: 60 years of diplomatic relations
between Australia and Singapore. As part of our national day celebrations and to mark this
momentous occasion, we are searching for a talented musician to perform at the event on
5 Feb, 2025. Of course, we will be taking care of the travel and accommodation
arrangements to Singapore.
I know that you were a part of the celebrations that took place earlier in Feb this year as

Further to our previous discussions, I am seeking S23 approval for the engagement of Media Talent Management
Pty Ltd (MTM) to engage musicians Eric Avery and Graham King for G’day by the Bay 2025 and a music workshop
from 3 – 6 February (dates to be confirmed). The full program is still in progress.
The cost for this engagement is
AUD10,000. Details of the costs as follows:
PD Budget
Performance fee
Sponsored
Airfares (sponsored by Qantas)
Accommodation incl. Breakfast (sponsored by Fullerton Hotel, Singapore)
Note: Discussion in progress with Qantas regarding airfares – i.e. fully sponsored airfares or discounted airfares. If
the airfares are discounted, PD will cover the difference in cost and separate S23 approval will be requested. There
might also be local transportation costs involved in moving the musicians from one venue to another (i.e. airport
to hotel).
