Freedom of Information Request 
 
I refer to my letter of 2 December 2024.  In that letter, I advised that your request for access 
to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (“FOI Act”) from the Victorian 
Curriculum and Assessment Authority (“VCAA”) was not valid, as you had not paid the 
application fee. 
 
It has been 31 days since that letter was sent to you. You have not responded to that letter 
by paying the application fee or sought a fee waiver or reduction on the basis of hardship. 
 
Accordingly, I have decided to refuse your request under section 17(2) of the Act. You do not 
have review rights under the Act, as the request you made was not valid.
