FOI 24-81 - Decision on Access
I refer to your email sent on 10 November 2024 to Airservices Australia (
Airservices), requesting
access to documents under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (
FOI Act). Your request is
as follows:
The audio of the arrival of AAL7 into Brisbane Airport on 28 October 2024. I am requesting
all audio from all frequencies handling this flight.
On 3 December 2024, you responded to our scope clarification email and confirmed that you agree
to the removal of non-related transmissions from any audio recordings located during our
searches, under section 22 of the FOI Act. We have continued processing your request, on this
basis.
Decision
I note that the due date for your decision is
10 December 2024.
I am authorised under section 23 of the FOI Act and the Airservices Instrument of Delegation and
Authorisation to make decisions on primary requests under the FOI Act.
