Dear FOI.LEGAL.TEAM,
I'm afraid I can't consent to the extension, so you'll need to check in with OAIC. I asked for *one* document ‐ the
most recent document mee ng the descrip on I provided. So I felt it was ghtly drawn.
The delivery of these documents will now slip past es mates next week which is unfortunate.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Frank N Fearless
I am wri ng regarding your request to Services Australia (the Agency), dated 3 October 2024, for documents under
the Freedom of Informa on Act
1982 (Cth) (FOI Act).
The FOI team is ac vely engaging with relevant business areas and reviewing documents within the scope of your
FOI request. Unfortunately, due to Agency workload and the need to undertake further consulta ons with relevant
business areas, this process will likely take longer than normal. The Agency will therefore not be in a posi on to
provide you with an FOI decision by the current due date of 4 November 2024.
The Agency respec ully seeks your wri en agreement to extend the processing me by an addi onal 14 days under
sec on 15AA of the FOI Act. This would result in a decision being due by 18 November 2023. If we are able to
provide you with a decision sooner, we will do so.
For your ac on

We would be grateful if you could respond to this email by close of business Thursday 31 October 2024 to confirm
your consent to an extension of me. If no response is received, we may seek an extension of me from the
Informa on Commissioner.
We apologise for the delay and thank you for your pa ence and understanding as we con nue to process your
request.
Yours sincerely
Alyssa, Authorised FOI Decision Maker
