Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 I seek the briefing pack prepared for the Australian
Electoral Commissioner for the Senate Finance and Public Administration Committee's 2024-25 Budget
Estimates hearings.
You were informed on 15 July 2024 that a practical refusal reason existed in relation to your request
under section 24AA of the FOI Act, and that the AEC intended to refuse access to the documents
you requested. The AEC advised you that you may revise the scope of your request, which you did
on 23 July 2024. Your revised request seeks access under the FOI Act to:
I would like to revise the request to include only the contents page or pages and index page or pages
of the 2024-25 Senate Estimates briefing pack.
