Dear Department of Education, Skills and Employment,
I am applying for information about the Australian Apprentice Training Support Payments. These are the payments where a full-time Australian Apprentice can receive $1,250 every six months for the first two years of their apprenticeship ($5,000 in total), a part-time Australian Apprentice can receive $625 ($2,500 in total).
I am requesting the following information for the period of 1 July 2022 to 30 April 2023:
- How many eligible Australian apprentices have received a payment in the timeframe above
- How many eligible Australian apprentices have received more than 1 payment in the timeframe above
- The total amount of funding that has gone directly to eligible apprentices through the scheme in the timeframe above
Yours faithfully,
Christopher Mulligan
