To act as agent of the Library Board of Queensland in raising funds through gifts, grants and other forms of financial assistance, property and benefits of the State Library, including for buildings, infrastructure, library materials, facilities, programs and projects, increasing public support and interest in the State Library and building the number of financial supporters of the State Library to assist the Library Board of Queensland in the performance of its functions.
