The Hon. Greg Combet MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy Efficiency appointed the Independent Expert Group in 2012 to advise him on the development of the Climate Adaptation Outlook Report, which will assess how well placed Australia is to deal with the impacts of unavoidable climate change. The Independent Expert Group was previously listed as the Independent Expert Group for the Climate Futures Report.
