The Great Artesian Basin Coordinating Committee provides advice from community organisations and agencies to Ministers on efficient, effective and sustainable whole-of-resource management and to coordinate activity between stakeholders. Chair is appointed by Minister all other members are nominated by stake holder State Governments, community groups and industry sectors. No ministerial discretion in appointment.
