Community Corrections Tasmania supervises offenders on Probation Orders, Parole Orders, Drug Treatment Orders and Community Service Orders. It is also responsible for preparing Pre-Parole Reports for the Parole Board and Pre-Sentence Reports and Community Service Order suitability reports for the courts. It’s stated mission is to work with offenders on community based orders to reduce re-offending and contribute to a safer Tasmania.
