The Bushfire CRC is conducting research to understand the underlying risk exposure of the broad Australasian community and the things it values; the communication of risk and threat; and management issues related to extreme fire events. The research builds upon the broad outputs of the earlier Bushfire CRC program, which began in 2003, to help the emergency management sector and the community to address the many challenges produced by fire and other natural disasters.
