Booderee National Park Board of Management

The Booderee National Park Board of Management is established under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. The Board manages the park in conjunction with the Director of National Parks. The functions of the Board are to make decisions about management of the park consistent with the park management plan and, in conjunction with the Director, to prepare management plans, monitor the management of the park, and advise the Minister on all future development of the park. The Board has 12 members a majority of whom are indigenous persons nominated by the traditional Aboriginal owners of the park.
