The Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Advisory Committee is a non-statutory, ministerially appointed body which provides expert technical advice to the Minister responsible for the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities (DSEWPaC). Advice includes assessing and recommending funding for Research Grants and Contracts, training schemes and the development of strategic and operational priorities and directions for the National Taxonomy Research Grant Program (NTRGP).
