ACT City Services
City Services is responsible for a range of core municipal and Territory services, which include the key operational areas and functions are:
- Licensing and Compliance (policy, guidelines and licensing for use of public land and under the Nature Conservation Act, Fisheries Act and Lakes Act, City Rangers performing regulatory/compliance functions, tree protection, domestic animals regulation, welfare services and biosecurity);
- Place Management (city-wide cleaning and open space asset maintenance including mowing, playground, picnic and associated infrastructure maintenance, care of lakes and waterways and delivery of horticultural displays for Floriade);
- Urban Treescapes (urban tree planning, management and maintenance);
- Asset Data and integration (Provide divisional support in relation to asset data management, GIS mapping and are the "interface" between PATS operational areas and TAMS AIB, AA, INTACT, Canberra Connect, ACTPLA etc for ICT, systems and data related activities).
